Gutter clearing

A message from Andy Eglinton at RGB re gutter cleaning

Morning all,

The gutter clearance across the estate is now complete, please see below example of before and after photo’s.

Also our contractor The Roof Truss Merchant is going to start the water proof liquid membrane works to the concrete stairs at 1-19 Combe Mews, 2-20 Combe avenue and 9-21 Vanbrugh Park Road on Tuesday 19th September, again I will letter the relevant blocks this week when I have heard back from RTM as to what order they will be carrying out the works, we will make sure that only one staircase is worked on at any one time at each block to allow 100% access.

Kind regards

Andy

Staircase repairs

A message from Andy Eglinton at RGB

Morning all,

Just a quick line to tell you we will be rebuilding the defective concrete steps to block 9-21 Vanbrugh Park Road nearest flat 9, the staircase will be blocked off and a small hoarding will be erected around the base of the steps to keep the site safe.

I know this does not directly affect all of you but just wanted to make you aware if you see our contractors on site.

The attached letter will be delivered today to inform the affected block.

Apologies in advance for this temporary inconvenience.

Kind regards

Andy

Update: RGB Estate Maintenance

On 1 Aug 2023, at 07:50, Andrew Eglinton wrote:

Good morning all,

Following drainage surveys / repairs to 1-19 Combe Mews I am writing to let you know that I am raising an order for our drainage contractor Hardy Drainage to carry out CCTV surveys to the rest of the estate, all blocks of houses and blocks 2-20 & 9-21.

The houses will be surveyed block by block basis only requiring access to the rear gardens / manholes.

I will be in touch in the very near future to schedule this work probably coming to site to carry out a door knocking exercise to update residents, arrange access etc, this is quite a big task and will try our best to work with all the residents to complete this work.

Any defects to the drainage systems identified from the surveys will be scheduled and repaired.

Paving the way

It would be difficult not to notice there's some work being carried out on the Estate.

A company called Riney is replacing the paving slabs.

You should receive a letter from the site supervisor, but here's a copy if you need it:
